We are more than a march, we’re a movement.

Women’s March
Sioux Falls

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT:

The women’s MARCH has been MOVED INDOORS due to cold weather.

Join us at 10:30 AM at Mosaic (formerly the museum of visual materials)

join us for The women’s March on Saturday, January 18, 2025

Eight years ago, thousands of South Dakotans marched to show strength, courage, and solidarity with the people of our great state, including the LGBTQ community, people of all faiths, people of color, immigrants, people with disabilities, and people of all genders. The freedoms of our families, friends, and neighbors are once again under threat, and we must boldly come together to show our collective strength.

We ask you to join us on Saturday, January 18th, 2025 in Sioux Falls to stand united for the people of South Dakota. We will send a clear and unmistakable message to the incoming administration: We will NOT go back!

Fired up? Follow Up!

Building on the momentum of the Women’s March, we are proud to announce plans for The Women’s March through downtown Sioux Falls, followed by a community gathering. This event will connect participants to local South Dakota organizations already leading the fight for our rights—reproductive, civil, LGBTQ+, voting rights, and more. These organizations will need our ongoing support in the form of volunteering, advocacy, and donations as we continue the fight for justice and equity. This is more than a march—it’s a call to action.

Stay tuned for more updates in the coming weeks. While January weather in South Dakota is unpredictable, our resolve is steadfast, our voices unified, and our determination unshakable. Together, we’ll continue to fight for what matters to women, our communities, and the future of South Dakota. Join us! Your presence and participation make a difference.

our mission:

To harness the power of women and their communities to create transformative social change.

Let’s stand together in solidarity, march with purpose, and commit to building a brighter future for South Dakota.
